The 'MTA Wing' is almost ready!

Last year, when we became grandparents, and a wonderful little boy named Miles Theodore Albano came into our lives, we started thinking about buying more space so that we could have our extended family (and friends) visit us in Pittsfield.  This week, the process is almost complete, and very soon this space will be filled with the sounds of our grandson, his parents, and Stella and Phil (Titus' Min Pin cousins).  We're very excited!

The fire door in its original location/condition (that was our living room), and now.  We just had to have it.

Finally! A finished living room!

After months of searching online (Restoration Hardware is our favorite), going to antique shops, auctions and funky used furniture warehouses, we finally have all of the furniture we wanted. All that is left are the lamps and wall hangings. We've had a ball decorating and designing our space!!!

Here we are at a tent sale in Great Barrington, purchasing a kimono stand (Bill is decorating it) to be used as a room divider.

Finally it's ready!

Whew! I can't believe my last post was in May! It has been a whirlwind of activity and now we are finally moved in. Here is our condo, fully finished. Bill & I are pretty proud of our creativity.

And we got this email from Dan Soldato after spending many hours reviewing catalogs and websites to choose a ceiling fan for the bedroom:

"Barbara, I found the perfect fan & its cheap. Please show Bill and let me

know if you guys like it. Its awesome!" Very funny Dan!
